Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I am a multi-instrumental musician (playing electric and acoustic guitar, bass, drums, piano, violin, viola and more) and teacher with over thirty years experience playing, studying, writing, performing, teaching and recording music. As a musician, I have sought to take music in new directions by integrating numerous diverse musical and cultural influences into my playing style. I have been teaching cello since high school, when I already had 15 years of experience playing the cello. I have taught consistently since then and along the way completed all of the units of Suzuki teacher training. I have studied how to teach with the renowned trainers David Evenchick, Jean Dexter, Pamela Devenport, Carey Cheney, and Avi Friedlander. I continue to study with other teacher trainers whenever possible to continue learning how to teach. Read More

Viola, Cello, Bass Ensemble InstructorJun 2014 - Jul 2014 Pennsbury School District Summer Camp This summer camp met for the month of July, and the students attended Monday-Thursday. Each day we would focus on learning Viola, Cello, and Bass ensemble repertoire and showcased our accomplishments in the final concert. For all of my students, I encourage consistent practicing of their instrument in order for them to grow and build their musical skills. Students are given scales, modern and classical pieces to practice. I find the combinations of these three things let most students see how diverse strings can be. I try to create games for my younger students so they enjoy practicing early on. I also have concerts regularly for all of my students who are able to attend. Read More

I have performed with the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra since 2018 and also the assistant principal cellist of the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra. In addition, I have played with the Richmond Symphony, the Ocala Symphony, Sinfonia Gulf Coast, Northwest Florida Ballet, Sewanee Summer Festival Symphony, and many other orchestras and ensembles.
