I’ve performed solo and ensemble recitals in several states across the US. I’ve also studied personally with Celino and Lito Romero members of the elite classical guitar quartet “The Romeros”. I’ve performed masterclasses for The Romeros as well as other massive names in the Classical Guitar world such as: Martha Masters, Matthew Denman & Matt Palmer. For me, it's about building or finding moments. Finding out what is going to motivate you to learn that song, practice that chord, and try to instill the desire to show it off for next time. I have had extensive lessons on all ends of the music education spectrum. I took informal guitar lessons from rock n roll musicians who couldn't read music while I was in middle school/high school, and I took classical lessons while in college from professors who couldn't improvise in more than one or two styles (or sometimes none). As a drummer, I keep a smooth shuffle currently for 3 different rhythm blues bands who perform around New Orleans' Frenchmen Street and other top venues. I've also clocked studio sessions on bass, keys, violin, and viola. Viola and Violin came into my life as an adult and committed myself for 5+ to conquering the difficult fundamentals of these rewarding instruments.
