I approach teaching like nursing a baby ,u care for the baby,u feed the baby when hungry,u cover the babies body from catching cold , you teach the baby how to eat ,u hug the baby when he or she start crying, when she wants to go put her hand in the fire u stop her and tell her in advance what she’s going to experience.when she’s 18 you start to tell her to set goals and always drive hard to achieve them ,you tell her to never give up and be distracted by boys,you’d tell to always keep learning in life because the day you stop learning you start dying. My passion for music was born from a very young age thanks to my family who all perform music. My training begins at age 9, when I receive a scholarship from the prestigious Julio Bocca institution to do musical comedy training. I graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Vocal Music Education in 2010, and am almost finished with my doctorate in choral conducting. I have been singing in choirs since I was in fifth grade and studying voice privately since 2000. I've had the opportunity to travel the world singing in choirs. I have a bachelors degree in Theatre Arts Studies from Brigham Young University and a Berklee Music Performance program certificate. I have 5 years of private teaching experience and have also taught vocal workshops and directed musical theater plays. I think it’s so important that students enjoy what they are doing so they have a desire to practice and work hard, so singing doesn’t become a chore.
