I first talk with my students to figure out their goals.  Once a reasonable goal has been agreed upon, I enthusiastically help them jump right into playing their instrument.  By breaking up portions of the lesson with review of simpler pieces, I encourage my students to play fun and simpler things as well, so that they do not beocme frustrated.  I always bring my positive attitude to each lesson, and have the students write down what to work on after each lesson. I'm a young Baritone vocalist who currently studies vocal performance at the Florida State University College of Music in Tallahassee, Florida. I've been playing the piano and singing since 2008, when I began my formal training in both disciplines. Although my primary focus is in classical music, I have also had years of experience in Jazz, Musical Theatre, and Pop genres with both instruments. One of my favorite musical memories that I've made is when I was given the opportunity to sing Leonard Bernstein's "Chichester Psalms" on the stage of Carnegie Hall in New York City. Read More

I am from Havana, Cuba, where I began my musical studies at age 7 and began performing with my parents' music ensemble at age 10.
