For beginning students, I usually have them begin in the basic all in one piano course. This lays the foundation of the piano, music theory, and basic level rhythm. For my advance students we may work in some of Palmer edition Bach or Beethoven series. I usually like to create various piano exercises that helps the student focus on speed, weight, and scales. As mentioned previously, my Philosophy is this: think like a learner so that learners are able to learn from someone who thinks like them. I like to start my lessons from the very beginning which is tuning the instrument, so that the instrument sounds good. To me music is about 10% technicality and 90% feeling. I started to teach group music class and private lesson when I was in undergraduate. I always try to bring everything I learned from performance, music education, observing other music teacher and my own experience to every music lesson I gave. Practicing consistently is the most important way to make the lesson experience more pleasant and worthwhile. I am a Venezuela singer/songwriter, cellist, guitarist, producer and music educator. I moved to the United States at the end of 2011. I started my college studies at Miami Dade College in the Fall of 2012, and obtained my A.A Degree in May of 2014. After that, I transferred to Berklee College of Music in 2014 and finished in the Summer of 2016 with Summa Cum Laude honors.
