Antony has a lot of experience as a performer and teacher. He has sung with Washington National Opera, Washington Bach Consort, and Handel and Haydn Society and performed over 30 roles in opera/musical theater. He is also a singer/songwriter. After earning my Master's Degree in Voice Performance from Georgia State University in Atlanta I immediately began teaching a studio of 50 students ranging in age from 4-70 years old. I have experience performing and teaching in many genres, including Classical, Opera, Musical Theatre, Pop, Soul, R & B, Country, and Rock. For children, my foundational methods include Leonard, Krueger, Clarke, Arban, Reinhardt, Rizzetto, Pearson, and Rubank. Solo and ensemble repertoire is introduced at the appropriate time. Time is also spent on improvisation, writing original compositions, and learning music that the students have brought to the lesson. For adults, we focus on what students are interested in working on, regardless of their ability level.
