Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. For piano students I usually use Piano Adventures method books while supplementing with scales, pop and classical repertoire, theory, ear training, history and more. For ukulele and guitar we focus on strumming patterns, rhythm, chords, and repertoire anywhere from rock or pop to classical. Through the years of being a performer, I've gained life experiences such as playing for the radio station back in my home state of texas as well as winning several talent shows with my original work. In recent years, I've gone to the University of Texas at SA, where I majored in Music Composition and minored in Music Production. My teaching experience has been recent, having taught at Capital City Lighthouse Charter School for a year, teaching music to elementary students, and then for two months at Jacksonville Lighthouse Charter School, also teaching music to elementary students.
