I am a graduate of Millikin University's performance program and have been fortunate enough to perform all over the world.  Music is life for me and I enjoy the "Light bulb" moments when the students are learning and the fingers just work! I use the Suzuki method for beginners! Once they reach intermediate level I start incorporating more etude books and a wider range of repertoire. I also teach beginners a lot of singing so they can really listen for intonation at an early stage. Listening skills are very important to me as well as music theory! I start giving worksheets to my students as soon as they start with me. The worksheets get more difficult as they get more advanced. Read More
