Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. As I progressed through the years, I expanded my range of student ability from beginner to upper intermediate, and from ages 6 to... well, older than me and I'm now 60! For beginning students, I like the Suzuki method for violin. I've been trained in that method. I'm also very flexible and like to incorporate other styles into our lessons. I believe that students develop skills quickly when they have a good understanding of hand position, note reading and ear training.
