Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.
lessons are available in the following areas:

For my youngest students, I usually start with a modified Suzuki approach. That means that most of the instruction is not from a book but through thorough hands-on demonstration, and aural training. Once the student has a good grasp of the basics of technique, I begin to introduce music literacy through the "I Can Read Music" book. When a student can play a few notes on the D and A strings, I introduce simple songs and scales and progress from there. Read More

My teaching style revolves around the individual student. Every student must practice daily and enjoy practicing, so astudent's success comes from my encouragement and instruction. I conistently tailor my instruction to the student's ability and also remain consistent in my standards of teaching. Read More

For young children, I usually choose teaching books that are more fun and give them a basic start with understanding musical symbols by performing tasks in their books. Once students begin to understand how to read and play, I start to introduce the next level of material for them. For adults, I focus on what they are interested in and give more in-depth theory or compositional discussions if they wish or guide them towards playing pieces they always wanted to learn. Read More
Instruments: Piano, Violin, Electric Violin
When it comes to teaching beginner piano, my philosophy is to avoid making lessons and assignments feel like a monotonous chore. If a student feels overwhelmed and/or uninterested in completing assignments and attending lessons, it can have the same affect as being assigned too much school work and house chores; the student will most likely lose interest in learning. As a young musician, I make sure that my students look forward to their lessons by reinforcing the idea of music as a form of artistic expression. Read More

There is nothing more rewarding than seeing my students flourish. My students will often come to the first lesson worried about their ability and leave with more than a grin on their face because it was not at all what they were expecting. I strive to make my teaching style unique to each individual. My students find that I can explain a concept or practice technique to them in multiple ways if they do not understand it the first time.
