Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I started playing the violin when I was 7 years old after my mother’s passing. It was my outlet, and has continued to be my creative outlet for expressing myself in a positive light. My experience teaching dates back to the beginning of my college career in 2014. A majority of my students have ranged from brand new players to an intermediate level, but I am willing and enthusiastic about teaching players of all levels! Additionally, I have taught a diverse age range; from 4 years olds to adults. I primarily teach classical violin, but have spent time as a fiddling instructor at Blue Lake Fine Arts camp and am well equipped to teach both styles. Read More

Today I will share with you my teaching experience in a few brief general statements: Due to a hearty touring schedule, most of my experience stems from the privilege of masterclasses around the world but mostly America, Germany, and Denmark along with some private teaching. I understand how tiresome it can be to only work on etudes and exercises, so as long as they're putting in the work on these, I like to add something a little more fun to keep them going. Like a parent sneakily hiding vegetables in their kid's food, I like to focus on technique in pieces of music that are designed to be fun. Depending on a student, I use different approach in repertoire and technique.I try to see what student needs and what he or she is interested in , then I adjust my teaching technique. If someone is having challenges with left or right hand , holding the bow or any other technique, I do my best to help student and don't move forward till problem is resolved. Although playing violin may not seem always like fun because of various challenges this instrument brings to us, I try to make lessons as more engaging as I can. Read More
