Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I've been actively teaching for nearly 35 years. Teaching children as well as adults. I graduated from Drake University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Music Education. While in college I played professionally in the Des Moines Symphony and was the winner of the Young Artist Contest which afforded me the privilege of featured soloist with the Drake Symphony Orchestra. I've travelled Europe performing in America's Youth in Concert and have played at Carnegie Hall, Notre Dame. Read More

I have been a member of marching and concert bands since middle school and have attended many honor band and orchestra festivals as well as workshops where I have worked with many world renowned composers and educators. The opportunities provided to me through my school ensembles has filled me with a wealth of musical knowledge and teaching tools to help students achieve their dreams. My longterm goal is to get my Doctorate of Musical Arts with a minor in music theory and teach at the collegiate level. Read More

I teach mainly out of the string builder series. After the student shows some progress I will introduce some solo pieces and maybe some studies to practice. My method really revolves around the student since everyone advances at their own pace. Some other method books could be Kreutzer, Sevcik, and wohlfhart. Some early pieces I could introduce would be Arcangelos Corelli's violin sonatas. Read More

I am a cellist, composer, and music educator living in the LA area. I earned the Doctor of Musical Arts in Composition from the Yale School of Music, and have recently joined the faculty of Mt. San Antonio College as Adjunct Instructor of Cello and Music Theory.
