I am a classical violinist teaching in Henderson and Boulder City. In 2008, I received my bachelor's in violin performance from the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado, and in 2010, I received my master's in violin performance from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. Before moving to Nevada, I performed with various professional orchestras in Colorado and Wyoming, including the Fort Collins Symphony and the Cheyenne Symphony. My earliest teaching experience began in high school while teaching several middle school groups for the local zone concerts. I have taught several lesson plans in the Washoe County School district and successfully completed a 14 week internship teaching orchestra at Depoali MS and McQueen HS. I have been a counselor at Lake Tahoe Music Camp for two years now and plan to complete my third and final year this summer. Read More

As a violin teacher my goal is to see how much each of my students has progressed from the beginning. I have to approach individually to each of them according to their characters, temperament, abilities to learn in order to choose the program for them. I always inspire my students to progress in the world of music, encourage them to learn and practice more. I began teaching professionally in the Bay Area about 30 years ago. I have taught in a variety of settings includings classes, group lessons, in music stores, for school districts, at students' homes and in my own private studio. Every person learns differently and I am highly skilled at detecting this and using it to my students' advantage.
