Depending on the students level, I will focus on a certain range of scales to build strength. The first few lessons are spent learning about one another and giving/getting feedback on what the student liked or didn't like. This is very important to me, as I want to establish long-standing musicians! I also try to establish a vocal goal each month. We will then gradually increase that range while working on songs for a show, an upcoming gig, that big recital, or just for fun! Read More

I like to challenge them with pieces of music that may be a little beyond their reach, but it gives them something to work towards. I am a creative and enthusiastic violinist based in the Northwest Indiana region. I graduated with a degree in music with an emphasis in performance in 2018 from Butler University. During my undergraduate career, I was principal 2nd violinist with the Butler Symphony and performed two solo recitals. Additionally, I performed with the Butler Ballet and Opera Orchestras, as well as with local symphonies (Hendricks Symphony and Danville Symphony).
