Hello everyone! Today I will share with you my teaching experience in a few brief general statements: Due to a hearty touring schedule, most of my experience stems from the privilege of masterclasses around the world but mostly America, Germany, and Denmark along with some private teaching. I have done a guest mindfulness/meditative workshop class with The Jacobs School of Music Summer String Academy and taught orchestra programs and performed school visitstions as a guest artist that have included variations of lectures mixed with question and answer models. My top priority in teaching violin is for my students to develop a love for music. This includes tailoring my teaching style dependent on the student's learning style. Typically, I like to begin my lessons with developing musical foundations (which includes scales, rhythm, and different bow and finger exercises). I balance the challenging repertoire with a piece of the student's choosing, whether that be a pop song, fiddling, or a duet. Read More

I want my students to have fun and enjoy themselves during our time together, but I also want to help them discover the courage and confidence within them that will help turn their lessons into lifetime expressions of beauty and freedom. I expect them to practice and they will grow much faster if they work on their own. Read More

It is always a pleasure to see my students develop their skills and deeper interest in music. I believe that everyone can perform starting with simple solo pieces of 2-5 minutes long. This experience is rewarding for self development and artistic growth. I remember always playing for my classmates in high school and enjoying it a lot. Making new friends and sharing music is part of being musician and playing musical instrument. Read More

I understand how tiresome it can be to only work on etudes and exercises, so as long as they're putting in the work on these, I like to add something a little more fun to keep them going. Like a parent sneakily hiding vegetables in their kid's food, I like to focus on technique in pieces of music that are designed to be fun. They feel like they're learning the hottest new song on the radio, but they're still learning intonation, rhythm, bowing techniques, and more! Read More
