Depending on a student, I use different approach in repertoire and technique.I try to see what student needs and what he or she is interested in , then I adjust my teaching technique. If someone is having challenges with left or right hand , holding the bow or any other technique, I do my best to help student and don't move forward till problem is resolved. I have always loved teaching music. I think that it is a very important aspect of being a musician. I feel the need to pass on everything that I have learned. I started studying classical music and shortly after beginning, started to branch out into other styles. Over the years, I have studied, country, Irish, and Cajun fiddling, Jazz, Rock, Improv, and kept up with my classical studies. A majority of my students have ranged from brand new players to an intermediate level, but I am willing and enthusiastic about teaching players of all levels! Additionally, I have taught a diverse age range; from 4 years olds to adults.
