Music is my gift. I am blessed with a natural ability which I have dedicated my life to learn, cultivate and nurture. To share this through teaching is rewarding. I teach students of all ages and levels. We have two recitals per year, which are unique and fun because of our wide variety of instruments and our group songs. To me there is nothing is more satisfying than seeing my students develop a passion for music! While playing music itself is quite enjoyable, it is absolutely essential that each student progresses at their own pace. Before jumping into playing, I like to test the skills of my students to see where they are in their musical development. I believe that no one system works for every student. My main focus in teaching is to find the best way for each student to learn and to enjoy playing. I know that if the student doesn't like their lessons, it makes it more difficult to learn and may lead to that student deciding they no longer want to play. In each lesson, we will work on as much technique as possible, but as long as students continue to learn and are motivated to play, I won't push them beyond what they are ready or willing to do. My earliest teaching experience began in high school while teaching several middle school groups for the local zone concerts. I have taught several lesson plans in the Washoe County School district and successfully completed a 14 week internship teaching orchestra at Depoali MS and McQueen HS. I have been a counselor at Lake Tahoe Music Camp for two years now and plan to complete my third and final year this summer. Read More

In 1989, right after my Conservatory graduation I recieved a position as a Violin Senior Teacher at the Institute Of Arts in Chisinau Moldova (Former USSR). I taught for 5 years University students, then I moved with my Concert career and private teaching.
