I have had plenty of experience teaching both privately and in a classroom setting. I began teaching private lessons on the piano and violin in high school, where I mainly had elementary school beginners. In college, I continued to teach private lessons and also had plenty of opportunities to work with students of all different ages and skill levels in a variety of settings. By allowing the parent to be a part of the experience, it not only helps them to see what their student, at that age, is experiencing, it as well helps for during individual practice time.
