Truly enjoy seeing students seeing students get it, musically and become successful. I teach as if I am training my replacement so I can attend a concert and hear them play; specially when I am too old to play but can still hear a good concert. I have played with many groups in the United States (including Hawaii and Alaska), Central America, Jordan, much of Europe (France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, England, Scotland). I spend a reasonable amount of time preparing my students for our recitals and many of them join in the group songs, which have included "What a Wonderful World", "Happy", and currently "The Theme From Midnight Cowboy". The Brass Quintet introduced me to Chamber Music. Read More

It is important that each student enjoys playing the piano and is willing to practice every day without being told by their guardian that its time to practice. With that being said, it is important that I allow each student to progress at his or her own pace. It is useless to move on to a new lesson if the student has not mastered what was taught on the most recent lesson. Read More
Instruments: Trumpet

I work diligently to make sure that beginners do not unnecessarily develop bad habits and that such habits are corrected in non-beginners. When a student is not limited by technique, he or she is more easily able to communicate their musical ideas to an audience. Read More
