When teaching students who are young, I would first start off with the fundamentals. For example, I would explain music terms to them and develop the new language from there. Once the student has a basic understanding of music, I would then talk about the Circle of Fifths and encourage them to participate in events like concerts or festivals in school. As a third generation trumpet player, I am thoroughly passionate about the trumpet. It has taken me all over the county, abroad, and in to rooms with some of the most musically influential people alive today. I graduated from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University, Long Beach in 2016.
