Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I teach according to each students learning ability and I also love to challenge my students to help with their daily practice time. Depending on the level of advancement , we will determine the materials that is needed for each lesson. If its a beginner they will start on the basic learnings and fundamentals of music to help them better understand the lesson. Once the students progress to a certain level in their music I will then introduce more challenging exercises to prepare them for the next level. Read More

It is such a joy to see students progress in lessons, especially younger students. My former piano teacher of 10 years inspired me so much and was the most amazing and professional piano instructor in my area. She really lived by the reward system. Joseph enjoys an active career as a performer and educator. He is a member of the Jackson Symphony Orchestra in Jackson, Tennessee, and is principal trumpet of the Psallos Chamber Orchestra. A native of Jackson, Moore completed his undergraduate work at Union University where he earned a Bachelor of Music degree, studying trumpet performance with Tom Grant and Dennis Smith, and music composition with Daniel Musselman. He went on to earn a Master of Music degree in trumpet performance from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, where he studied with internationally-acclaimed soloist Richard Stoelzel. Read More

I generally try to understand the fundamentals as to where the student is at currently. The basics are always where we drill the most. Playing the fundamentals must become like second nature as all the advance stages of playing and performing would always be difficult. Besides having a good grasp on the fundamentals, it is always important to find out what the student is interested in and the direction emphasis that the student / student's parent wants to get to of music lessons.
