I'm a passionate musician who likes sharing his love of music with others. I'm currently completing coursework for my Doctorate in Music at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. I've been fortunate to perform both as a soloist and orchestral musician in Aruba and Italy, in addition to the diverse performing I've enjoyed stateside. Following high school, I spent six years scooping up opportunities, training, and degrees in music education. Another trip to Bangladesh opened my ears to the delightful and rich musical experiences of other, divergent cultures. It was now time to hit the classroom... and, for the next three years, I had the wonderful experience of teaching fifth and sixth graders in the general music classroom, assisting the band director, teaching second graders through twelfth graders in private lessons, and juggling up to twenty additional "outside" students! Teaching music is my life's passion. I followed that passion to earning a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Evansville in 2011. Since then I have been teaching students of all ages and levels. Since earning my degree I have performed on stages across the country in pit orchestras, bands, choirs, opera performances and as a solo artist on various instruments including the voice.
