I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. I graduated high school in 2004 and went on with a full scholarship at Blinn Junior College in Brenham, TX. I played first trumpet part all throughout middle and high school and even in college. Also in college I participated in the Jazz band there throughout my 2 years. IN THE LAST 22 YEARS I HAVE HAD STUDENTS TO MAKE ALL-AREA BANDS AND ORCHESTRAS IN THE STATE OF TEXAS. IN THE PRESENT TIME I ENCOURAGE STUDENTS TO PRACTICE 15 MINUTES A DAY INSTEAD OF THE LONG-GATED 1 HOUR PRACTICE. I have worked with many different method books, but the Essential Elements books are valuable because of the audio CD that is included with the books.
