Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I have experience with Trumpet performance in a wide range of settings from Orchestral brass sections to Jazz combos. My graduate studies were completed in New York at SUNY Purchase under the tutelage of Jon Faddis. I have been fortunate to have many amazing performance opportunities, including: Tour of England and Wales, Tour of Austria and Germany, 5 National Brass Band Competitions, performances at Dizzy's Coca Cola Club and The Bluenote. My first lesson with all of my students begin with an introduction, where we get to know a little bit about each other. I like to know the goals/expectations of my students. We will also do a number of fundamental exercises so I can get a feel for where the student currently is. For students of all ages, I aim to use the William Adam method while teaching.
