Im primarily a self taught musician who has worked my way into being a professional. For the past 4 years, I have been at Seton Hall University studying to become proficient in Contemporary Trumpet and to possess solid skills in the collection of all other brass and woodwind instruments in order to teach music. I am fully qualified and most of my teaching experience comes from my students and teaching music within my church. While student teaching I taught all instrumental music classes for grades 8 9.I also collaborated on curriculum and exam development, met with students upon request, graded all written work and oral playing tests, and created lesson plans. Prior to enrolling in a music school, I developed an unexpected interest in teaching. Doctorate candidate in Music Performance, Master in Music, and MBA. I have been teaching trumpet and wind ensemble internationally over 20 years. My trumpet students have placed first in both regional and state competitions performing in both small and large ensembles. The wind ensembles I conducted also have participated in WASBE Conference, Jeju International Wind Ensemble Festival, WMC Kerkrade, and Midwest Clinic.
