For beginning piano students, I started with the Piano Adventures Series unless they show a higher than usual natural ability. If I see that are above average, I will switch them to the Modern Course for Piano by John Thompson. Along with these method books, I introduce solo music from classical to modern music. I have experience playing in many different setting including Orchestras, Jazz Combo groups, large Jazz ensembles, musicals, cover bands and much more. I have enjoyed traveling the east coast to cover wherever a trumpet player may be needed. Another musical passion of mine is Marching Band/Drum Corps. I am an experienced trombonist located in Raleigh, NC. I have established an exceptional playing career spanning from Middle and High School, having won chairs in multiple All-District honor bands, to performing with numerous ensembles spanning genres such as classical, jazz, and funk. Currently, I actively perform with the Greensboro Concert Band, Tobacco Road Trombones, and the Kings of Swing Jazz Orchestra.
