I don't have many official teaching experiences, except for my student observing classes. For a class we had to drive to some middle school and high school for a year, attend about 4hrs and help the bands in these schools. I was able to help at Robstown High School and Seale middle school, and got the opportunity to help their clarinet sections as much as possible. I also attended HMK High school and Gillette Middle School, here I was able to work with all instrument players but focus more on music theory. Read More

The biggest joy in teaching and working with students is seeing them develop a passion and love for music. My teaching experience is very hands on and I love to model everything that I teach. It's important for my students to progress at his or her own pace and I encourage this by setting goals for my students at each lesson. That is why at the start of our first lesson, I will assess what the student wishes to gain from our time together, and from our second lesson onwards, we will set smaller goals to be attained at the end of each lesson. I like to first access the student and their proficiency level. Once I discover your weak points I focus on them and drill them to perfection. Once we have those down. Of course it takes much practice on your part at home alone, then we can move onto actual music and integrating all the skills you learned naturally into harmonious music.--There is no set way to my teaching style because every student is different and must be addressed with their own distinct methods and styles of learning. -I do not teach in the way schools teach their subjects such as history or math. -I learn the student before I can teach the student based off how they live, interact, and learn.
