I have had a passion for teaching music since I was in high school, when began a private studio out of my home in 2006. I obtained a Bachelor of Music degree in Trombone Performance from Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music in 2014, and two Master of Music degrees from the University of Michigan in 2014, in Trombone Performance and Chamber Music respectively. Lessons are tailored to each individual. My teaching methods include a warm-up routine, scales, and etudes or songs from various method books, depending on the skill level of the student. Standard repertoire in classical and jazz studies is also covered. Sight-reading, improvisation, and ear-training are also a part of most lessons. All my students learn a solid foundation while facilitating room for individuality and creativity.
