Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. I am originally from Memphis, TN, but I grew up in the small college town of Auburn, AL. I now reside in Northern Virginia and am a Trombone Instrumentalist in the Quantico Marine Corps Band. My teaching style is guided by several simple principles: 1. Its all about two things; the MUSIC and RELATIONSHIPS. 2. It has to be FUN, or why do it? 3.
