I will ask the student for their goals and what they wish to accomplish by taking lessons. Once we establish a goal we can work on attaining that goal. During lessons I find it useful for students to learn some basic music theory as it helps understanding patterns that can be applied to the clarinet. For beginning students I select special lessons. I am careful to choose the appropriate music for each age. if there is a child, for me is very important the relationship with the parents, because they know a lot of goals from the child. For adults the communication is the fundamental thing, each have own aspirations. The topic for teach my students will be my passion. For all beginners, I like to start with the very basics to establish good habits and knowledge that will put them ahead and benefit them throughout their musical careers. All students will begin by learning proper embouchure, finger positions, breathing techniques and air control. We will also begin every lessons with practicing long tones and major scales.
