I performed the lead role of Rosalina in IUP’s production of Die Fledermaus and have been a part of other productions including Le nozze di figaro, Suor Angelica, Beauty and the Beast, Hairspray, Guys and Dolls, Anything Goes and Godspell. In 2010, I graduated from VanderCook College of Music with a Bachelor's in Music Education. I have played in a variety of instrumental ensembles on different instruments, from euphonium, trombone, marimba and drum-set to name a few. I am motivated to helping people accomplish their goal of learning their instrument. I am currently writing doctoral dissertation titled "A Performer's Guide to the Prepared Piano of John Cage: The 1930s to 1950s." to complete DMA program by December 2018. I had the privilege of learning from great teachers including Awadagin Pratt, Joshua Russell, and Hyejeon Lee. I was also coached with Ariel Quartet for chamber music and performed in masterclasses for Aviram Reichert, John O'Conor, Min-kyung Kwon, Boaz sharon, Yong-hee Moon, Alexander Korsantia and Yoshikazu Nagai, among many others. Not every student that is in a classroom is the same; each one is unique and has their own special needs.
