Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. From there I can see where we need to start from and work our way forward. I like to start where the student is. For my youngest students, we begin with the basics of counting and the music alphabet. For older students and adults, I assess prior knowledge and go from there. i like to have the students help me create up to three goals for the semester or year so that we can have something specific to aim for and measure.
