Later, I began to teach from my home and eventually was offered a job in a music store. I've given thousands of lessons since I began teaching. While I taught before graduate school, most of my teaching experience comes from the graduate assistant ship I held while studying. I taught undergraduate students with guitar as their primary instrument and also oversaw several classical guitar esembles. Outside of the assistantship I have taught a wide range of ages, from young children to middle-aged adults. I am self taught on guitar and piano and play the cello, harmonica and mandolin but have extensive experience on the guitar.
