For beginning students I use instrument appropriate lesson books that teach the fundamentals of music, the instrument and progressively allows the student to feel comfortable with the sound and feel of the instrument. As they progress I begin introducing solo pieces and instruction to strengthen techniques, embouchure, sight reading, and theory abilities. I find this course to be clearly written and easy to understand, and it offers a broad musical foundation to facillitate students as they move easily to higher levels of guitar studies.
