For age 0-4, I have opened Zumbini program for those babies and their caregivers. My piano lessons start at age 4. For those beginner students, I use Piano Adventures from Faber and Faber, typically focused on lesson books, performance books and theory books. When students move on to the higher levels, I will start to introduce easy classical repertoire, such as J.S. Bach or Bergermuller. I began teaching as a young flutist, but started teaching private flute lessons during my freshmen year of college, and have been teaching both kids and adults since then. I have performed with the Skidmore College Orchestra as the principal flutist as well as the Skidmore Wind Ensemble, Skidmore Chorus, composition recitals, and vocal recitals. In 2018, I won second prize in the Skidmore Concerto Competition and performed Reineckes flute concerto with the Skidmore Orchestra in March, 2019. Read More

For beginners who are children I will start with the fundamentals of the instrument (flute or sax) and then from there will introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their level.
