I began teaching when I substituted for one of my previous drum instructors while he was gone on a short vacation, and I instantly loved the whole process. Shortly after, I began teaching a couple of weekly beginning African drumming classes, as well as teaching through the Boys Girls Club. My experience with both of these positions was invaluable, and helped me realize that I love helping students find that moment where everything clicks! Read More

I am an instructor who emphasizes student success, happiness, fulfillment and result. I understand that some students have different wants, needs and priorities when it comes to music education and I am ready to cater to all student types! Read More

Sharing the joy of music with the next generation of musicians is what motivates me. Read More

To me, experiencing the student first-hand and understanding his or her strengths and weaknesses was the most rewarding experience of my early college life and ever since then I have continued to teach and continue finding new and exciting ways to fall in love with it every day. Legend has it that Mozart's father (his teacher) would not let young Amadeus practice the piano unless he was there to supervise. Obviously, I can't be with you every time you sit at the drums, but I will be your coach and guide to consistently help you learn to reach your goals on the drum set efficiently and effectively.
