I'm relatively new to the teaching life, but I love it regardless. I started in September of 2018 with one student who I taught throughout the semester, and seeing him grow throughout the months was satisfying unlike anything else I've experienced. I taught one student a semester due to my school commitments but still managed to teach them a lot and open their eyes to the world of music. I'm a Tarleton State University graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. I have the ability to play and teach all brass instruments, with some voice, percussion, and piano instruction. I have completed my student teaching internship at Dublin and Hico ISDs (Elementary, Middle, HS Band) in 2012 and have worked as a music teacher in various charter schools. I started playing snare at 10 and drumset at 14 focusing mostly on rock drumming. I played quads and quints in marching band in high school and bass drum in college. I then studies jazz and percussion at Grand Rapids Community College and Grand Valley State University. I then studied Music composition at University of North Texas.
