Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. My method of teaching depends on what the student wants to learn and if he or she have already set goals. I have numerous methods for drumset that will help the student get better on their technique, learn rhythms, sigh read, develop musicianship, soloing concepts, read charts, sticking patterns, coordination/independence, develop groove and feel, construction and creation of fills and more. My experience with teaching has been endlessly rewarding. I love to share what i have learned about music and how to play the drums in the most musical possible way. I believe drumming to be incredibly powerful and so healthy for anyone to get involved in. I'm a pssionate musician and music teacher. I enjoy sharing my passion with students. I spend much of my time composing and teaching. I graduated from Lewis and Clark College in 2012 with a major in English and a heavy emphasis on music. I have studied African drumming, electronic music, classical music and jazz. I am well versed in hip hop as well. I have stayed tru to my roots and focused on mostly acoustic music, but my range transfers over to electric as well. Read More

I was blown away with his expertise and was encouraged by him to learn jazz. I'm a fairly new private lessons teacher finishing my Music Education/Composition Bachelor's degree. I have studied with some of the best flute and drumset players. I have performed many genres throughout my musical career. I have also played music for many different settings such as church, football, parades, celebrity shows, nonprofit organizations, rallys, and competitions.
