The best feeling for me is to see a student develop their own passion for music.  Therefore I do not believe in forcing a student to progress at a certain pace.  That said, I like to develop skill sets to a very strong level before moving forward to new skill sets.  I am a firm believer in acknowledging progress and positive reinforcement.  Above all else, I believe the students goals and interests are truly what guides the lessons.  I may explain and design a path for the student, but it all comes back to the destination that they desire. I have been teaching on and off since 2010 and now teach almost exclusively from my home studio in Bloomington, IN. I've had the experience of teaching everyone from 4 year olds to advanced adult students and implemented various teaching methods for the many different minds learning styles.
