I am able to asses the students current level of capability, understanding, and musical goals and tailor a curriculum to suit the specific needs and desires of the student. In terms of younger students who are first discvovering their interest in music, it is important to develop a basic foundation of understanding in terms of reading, writing, and communication with other musicians through the application of time tested teaching methods forcing the student to apply what they have learned in weekly "missions." For intermediate to advanced players, I'm able to help them to identify and subvert sticking points through the application of music theory, technique, and listening exercises as well as impart knowledge of the inner workings of music business and performance. Due to my experience working with multiple grade/age levels, I have learned to carefully fine tune my teaching strategy for each individual student that I work with. At the beginner level I typically work from method books to ensure a solid development of performance fundamentals. I also like to spend a good bit of time establishing successful warm-up and practice routines. As I teach a wide variety of instruments, I can only give a short explanation on each instruments road map, However! My classical strings students will all be started in the Essential Elements book 1. Upon completion of said book, all strings students will then move to the Suzuki books to step from beginner to intermediate strings player. Should the student grow bored of said books, I also provide a plethora of outside material to create fun challenges with more familiar music (pop tunes, video game music, easy arrangements of orchestral works, etc.) if the need arise! In 2009 ,after graduation from Miami Dade college I formed many cover bands playing classical rock to top 40 hits from weddings to backyard s n festivals .I’ve toured the country back n forth .seeing and playing at most available venues in South Florida area I became acquainted with Miami’s music scene and began working in promotion and festival organizing.Thats when I decided to take it to the next level making 1000$ per concert and understanding what it takes to survive and thrive in music working with distributors vendors promoters and venue owners to coloborate On the current studio rehersal space and recording plus’s lessons for young adults.I play drums guitar keyboards vocals ,and bass guitar.
