Since I have always believed that "one size does not necessarily fit all" I have found this to be a better approach to rapidly putting my students at the next level. Being able to read charts in marching percussion and drumset, in particular, will put you in a position of great demand when it comes to begin your professional career. My teaching experience dates back to my 1992, as I began teaching private lessons and I have been consistently teaching students in my home studio for the last 30 years. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument.
