Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. There are many books on drums and piano or voice. I have to get to know the student to determine what I will use to get better results. It will depend on their age and attitude and initial talent. Also, a lot of kids are busy at school and don't have much time for practice. It means I need to get a lot done during the actual lesson and make sure that the info I m giving is settling in and there are no gray areas and questions of what to do until next lesson. Read More

My experience goes back all the way to my college days at Southwestern Assemblies of God University. At Southwestern, I studied with Tim Pope, drummer for Ray Charles. After college, I had the opportunity to teach drums at Southwestern for 2 years as a adjunct faculty member. I then went on to teach at Fort Worth Christian School for 5 years and worked with all their students including their drum line.
