its a process of learning for me as well. i sit down with every student and create a custom lesson plan after the first lesson. everyone is different and i can cater to everyones needs! every musician learns in a different way. for children i tend to use more book oriented lesson and try to keep it very structered to cater to their eveyr growing minds. Getting my students to understand that this journey is a marathon and not a race is important so that they can understand how they should pace themselves as they progress.
