I am very passionate about music. I love to teach and pass along what i know so that others can continue to create music for profit and personal enjoyment. I am a very low pressure teacher. If you are not enjoying your time then no one is benefiting from the lessons. I use a marker board, books, a metronome, paper and pencils etc to tech lessons. I do not send home "homework" but i will assign practice exercises for students to do between classes and will check on the progress and results when we meet for our next lesson. Read More

By teaching the student to teach themselves, I try and allow them to explore music and their own creativity as independently as possible. I emphasize the need to express oneself, as well as the need for introspection. The practice of music is a microcosm of life, and I try and instill that sense in each student.
