I am not a teacher who uses specific method books. I use books based on the student's musical preferences or sometimes none at all. A good technique is always emphasized. My area of expertise is Sight Reading. This is an essential aspect of learning to play any instrument. A good sight reader is always able to learn their pieces faster and be better performers. While I was in student at Roosevelt University I won audition for Civic orchestra of Chicago. While I was in Civic orchestra I played as a soloist with the Chicago Symphony orchestra ( Mozart Sinfonia Concertante for Four Winds). After graduating from Roosevelt University I won 2nd/ e-flat clarinet position in South Bend Symphony orchestra.
