My name is Jenna G and I am currently a senior at Texas AM University (Whoop!). Music has been an important part of my life since I started playing piano in 2005. Clarinet became my primary instrument when I started band in middle school, and since then I have had incredible experiences both in teaching music and with performing. I am currently the principal clarinetist in the Texas AM Wind Symphony, but I have also had the privilege to play with the Texas All-State Philharmonic Orchestra in 2017 at the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Convention, with the AM Wind Symphony at Midwest in Chicago in 2019. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance.
