I am a passionate, caring and motivated teacher that identifies with music on every level. My love of music is clear through my passionate teaching and love of seeing others learn how to successfully be musicians without me. I was known for explaining things to students that they couldn't understand the way that the teachers would teach it. Nowadays, I'm often tutoring my fellow music majors on music theory and I'm planning on starting a club next semester at my college to teach people music that don't want to learn in a classical teaching method. My methods of teaching change with each student. All individuals learn differently. I start by seeing where each individual is and how they react to the material. We first learn basics and move as fast as the individual can or wants to. I want all my students to play pieces by themselves and with others (not just the same instruments). Im always wanting my students to be a well rounded individual in music and in life. Read More
