I am a teacher that understands that students move at different paces, because no two people are the same. I also understand that each student has different musical and artistic goals. I allow my students to set their own goals for lessons, as this places accountability on them and will help them grow more passionate for the art because they are more involved in the process of decision making. I will guide them to become musicians of their own, who no longer need my help. Read More

I began teaching music in 2010 as a high school senior. I quickly began to love it and decided to make it my career. I have taught K-12 grade music as well as a private clarinet and saxophone studio before realizing that I wanted to get back to performing and growing my studio. I moved to Fayetteville and started my masters at the University of Arkansas. I have performed with the Hutchinson Community Band, Lindsborg Community Band, Lindsborg Community Orchestra, Christian Youth Theatre of Wichita, Hutchinson Community Theatre, Dodge City Cowboy Band and many more college level ensembles. I try to find out what inspires my student so i can successfully tailor my instructions to their needs. Read More
