I like to begin each lesson with a warm up to get the mind and fingers working together. From there we will focus on building technique, musicality, and theory knowledge while focusing on cello repertoire. To end each lesson, we'll break out something fun whether that means learning a new pop song, jazz piece, or playing a cello duet. My lessons can be structured based on the students needs and meeting their long term or short term goals. Read More

I strive to be an effective teacher whos able to provide a catered, caring, and educated learning experience for my students. I like to believe that I have found many ways to create a fun, productive, and educational environment in my own home or in a separate teaching facility. Read More

I grew up in Nashville, Tennessee where as a young person I played cello and bass in all sorts of groups - from rock and funk bands to jazz big bands and combos. I fell in love with classical music in my early 20s, and I've pursued it passionately ever since. I earned a M.M. in cello performance in 2019 from FSU where I studied with Greg Sauer. I also hold an undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga, where I double majored in International Studies and Spanish. Read More

I can confidently say that, if students commit themselves to the path which I will guide them on, success is 100% guaranteed! Read More
