Ever since a child, I've loved learning, music and sharing my passions! Through grade school I grew into the role of a leader and a musical/visual artist. In 2018 I graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelors in K-12 Music Education with a minor in Spanish. My years of teaching grade school has reaffirmed my passion for teaching, and drive to be the best teacher I can. I created curriculum and taught over 200 group music classes at a summer camp. I worked with kids as an assistant teacher at Mountain West String Academy. As a continuous learner, I've attended over a dozen songwriting music conferences and cello masterclasses. Additionally, I have completed my music teaching training program at Songsmith Studio. For all beginning students, I start with the Suzuki books. They introduce new techniques in a comprehensible way that helps build upon fundamentals before progressing to more advanced techniques. After a bit with Suzuki, I like to add the Dotzauer etude book, which helps to focus on one technique per etude, building on what we learned earlier in Suzuki.
