Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. In college my skill increased tremendously and at the same time I was constantly being recommended for teaching positions of other undergraduate students by the music professors. During this entire time, and since I have continued teaching private lessons either on my own, or through schools such as Stone Grove Guitars or American Music Institute in the chicagoland. I also spent years teaching large ensembles so I understand how much a student can improve when they are performing, which is why I always encourage students to join bands, talent shows or recitals.
