Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Handdrums: ocasionally i may bring over handdrums for a 15 minute session on how to play them! Starting with a jazz quartet in 2003, I've led and put together many groups and musical encounters over the years. I started teaching around that same time, and I've found personally that the two work very well together. I always think about the time my guitar teacher in high school introduced me to the music of Steve Reich nonchalantly, and how that changed my personal music trajectory so profoundly.
